OpenCode Configuration Overview
The OpenCode Coding Plan model Provider, IDE Extension, and MCP are three independent capabilities. The IDE Extension connects to the local OpenCode runtime and reuses the same Provider configuration; it does not represent native support for 辰汐ai in the host editor.
| Route | Description | Link | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Terminal / CLI / TUI Provider | Uses opencode.json[c] and Chat Completions |
Provider Configuration | Verified Configuration Contract |
| IDE Extension | Hosts like VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VSCodium connect to OpenCode runtime | IDE Configuration | Experimental |
| MCP | Calls remote tools within OpenCode | MCP Overview | Independent Capability |
After the Provider configuration is successful, the IDE Extension should use the same Provider and model. It is still necessary to verify chat, file reading, editing, and tool invocation within the IDE separately; a single ordinary request from the CLI should not be automatically extrapolated to all IDE capabilities.
The model ID is based on the real-time directory.
